Haggar Clothing Co. and The Salvation Army Clothe Men In Need With Trade In, Trade Up, Give Back

Dallas, Texas (November 05, 2007)

Haggar has devoted itself to men.

Because men are strong. Men have values. Men do what they can to make things right in the world they live in. And sometimes, men need a little help.

So, we at Haggar Clothing Co. have set up a program called Trade In, Trade Up, Give Back that will help make sure that no man will go without this year. Together with the strength of 4 major retailers (JC Penney, Beall’s, Belk, Gottschalk’s) and the power of The Salvation Army, Trade In, Trade Up, Give Back will call upon the duty of men across our nation to help out one of their own.

By simply bringing a gently worn pair of pants on either November 10 or November 17, 2007 to the participating retailer in their area and donating it to our cause, they’ll get the opportunity to do their part to clothe and comfort someone in need. And, as a thank you for doing something good, we’re offering them a new pair of ANY of our pants at a significant discount, only $19.99. Men dedicate their lives to others, so we dedicate our lives to them.

It’s our way of showing our commitment to men, and creating a circle of good will that every guy can take part in. It’s just one more way we’re Making Things Right.
