Where it all began
Haggar is founded by Lebanese immigrant Joseph Marion Haggar Sr. in a one-room office in Dallas, Texas. Since then, Haggar has led the industry in comfort, quality, and innovation.
Haggar coins the word 'slacks'
"Slacks" is a take on the term "leisure time" or "slack time." The idea is that Haggar slacks would be worn during the "slack time" away from work.
10 million uniforms
Haggar services the war effort by suppling 10 million uniforms to the military during World War 2.
